Cash Donations
Financial assistance will go a long way in funding this pilot initiative and sustaining future activities of the Big Brother Project. All cash donations or pledges may be channeled thru the Big Brother Secretariat, or deposited to the bank accounts of the project heads.
Please note that for now, personal bank accounts will be used to expedite fund collection and until a bank account for Big Brother Project will be available. Check donations should be under the name of the abovementioned project heads.
All contributions will be accounted for and a donor’s receipt will be issued to cash donors. Requests to donate anonymously are accepted.
Donations in Kind
The following items are highly recommended for donations. The Big Brother committee recommends these items as the beneficiaries will find these helpful and useful:
- Clothes
- Vitamins and Medicines
- Toys
- Milk
- Biscuits, Bread, Cookies
- Fresh or Canned Fruits
- Packed or canned fruit juices
- Towels
- Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap)
- Detergent soap
- Art Materials
- Digital Thermometers
These goods may be dropped off during the Big Brother Caravan events. You may also coordinate with the Big Brother Secretariat for pick up arrangements.
Big Brother Volunteers
Volunteers are very much needed for the whole duration of the project, from fund raising and collection, outreach day program, movement of goods, physical arrangement and other areas. The following list identifies these areas where volunteers are needed:
- Program and Entertainment
- Goodies Packing, Distribution and Mobilization
- Physical Arrangement
- Transportation
- Documentation
