FAQs for BIG Help for KIDS

  • I am working and based overseas. How can I donate cash or send in goods for the kids?
For practical reasons, cash donation is preferred. See contact and bank details of the project heads.  For donations in kind, please make sure we can receive them on or before November 20.

  • Can I initiate a fund raising activity among my BM member friends?
Yes! But please let us help you so that everyone knows it’s an official Bigger Manila Big Brother Project Activity.

  • Can I donate olds toys for BIG Hope for KIDS?
Sure! Although brand new educational toys are preferred, hand me down toys are welcome as long as they are in excellent, almost-new condition. Remember, this is not a calamity relief operation. Our beneficiaries are kids fighting a difficult battle with cancer.

  • I have a non-BM friend who wishes to participate during the Outreach Day. Can he join as volunteer?
By all means, yes!  We will not turn down any help that is offered.

  • Are non-BM individuals welcome to help and contribute cash donations/goodies?
Yes, they indeed are!

  • Can private companies contribute to this project?
They are very welcome to do so.

  • I don’t want to be recognized as a donor. I want to remain anonymous. Is this possible?
One thing we are very good at is handling things discreetly as required. Rest assured that your identity will be kept anonymous as requested.

  • How can I be sure that the cash I am donating will go to the beneficiaries?
We will issue acknowledgement receipts, a certificate and finally a documented report on the collected donations that this project will receive.

  • Can I do bank deposit for my donation to this project?
See the bank details of the project heads to whom you can send your donations.

  • Why is Bigger Manila getting into this project?
It’s time that Bigger Manila gives back. We have been blessed as a group and as individuals in the few years of BM’s existence and we are more than ready to take on this mature social responsibility. More than anything else, because Bigger Manila cares!

  • I want to remain a “discreet” member of Bigger Manila. Will there be any mention of the nature of Bigger Manila in public acknowledgments that may jeopardize my being discreet?
Bigger Manila is doing this outreach program because we want to touch these kids’ lives, who or what the group is is not the main advocacy of this endeavor. Any reference to the nature of preference of BM members will be played down in any public forum the Big Brother Project will be engaged in.

  • I cannot donate much cash or goods. Can I volunteer instead?
Of course! We’ll need volunteers for the logistics of the goods and the day of the party itself. There are various activities that require your talent and physical stamina.

  • Can I still join the Outreach Day as a volunteer even if I already contributed some cash?
Be our guest!
